Kenneth Templeton is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A. in History. A lifelong surfer and former resident of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, he became primarily a seascape painter. In 2015 he moved to Amherst County, and while he still paints seascapes, he also paints the small towns and countryside of Virginia. Around 2014, he became obsessed with working in miniature and his latest endeavor is capturing the essence of old family snapshots. He has won awards in Wyoming, North Carolina, Virginia, and has been in many exhibitions including a U.S. Department of State exhibition in Bulgaria and a juried exhibition in New York City.
