Rosalie Day White
Rosalie White received her B.A. and M.Ed. from Lynchburg College. She later attended the Washington Studio School in Washington D.C., and undertook independent study in Paris, France, on three occasions.
Her work has been exhibited in Courtyard Gallery in Washington D.C., the Wichita Center for the Arts, The Chrysler Museum, Purdue University Galleries, and L’Ermitage in Rueil-Malmaison, France. Her art is included in collections in the United States, Germany, and France. She is one of the Founders of The Beverley Street Studio School in Staunton, Virginia. She was selected Virginia Governor’s School Outstanding Educator three times. Her teaching career has continued for over fifty-two years.
